Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Patients are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance to secure preferred times.
  • Cancellations: We kindly request a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Late Arrivals: If you are running late for your appointment, please notify us. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.

Insurance & Payment Policy

  • Insurance: We are in the process of credentialing with most major insurance plans and we will update our site with this information periodically. Currently accepting Aetna. Please verify your coverage prior to your appointment.
  • Self-Pay: For patients without insurance, we offer affordable self-pay options.  Rates vary from $100 – $250 per session. $50 for no call, no show.
  • Payment: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

Confidentiality & Privacy

  • HIPAA Compliance: Your privacy is important to us. All patient information is protected in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Confidentiality: We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your mental health care, except where required by law (e.g., in cases of risk of harm to yourself or others).
  • Telehealth Policy Eligibility: Telehealth appointments are available for patients who meet certain criteria.
  • Technology Requirements: Ensure you have a stable internet connection, a device with video capabilities, and a quiet, private space for your session.
  • Cancellations & No-Shows: Telehealth appointments require the same cancellation policies as in-person visits.
  • Medication Management Policy
  • Refills: Medication refills will be processed during your scheduled appointments. Requests outside of appointments will require a consultation to ensure proper management.
  • Medication Adjustments: Any medication adjustments will be discussed during your appointments based on your progress and needs.
  • Emergency Policy
  • Emergency Care: Our clinic does not provide emergency psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please contact your nearest emergency room or dial 911.
  • Crisis Situations: In cases of urgent medical or psychiatric needs, please call or visit a 24-hour emergency service.
  • Referrals & Collaboration
  • Referrals: If additional services are required (e.g., therapy, specialized testing), we are happy to provide referrals to trusted providers.
  • Collaboration: With your consent, we may collaborate with other healthcare providers involved in your care to ensure a holistic approach to your treatment.
  • Treatment Expectations & Responsibilities
  • Active Participation: Treatment is most effective when patients actively engage and follow through with recommendations and treatment plans.
  • Communication: We encourage open and honest communication. Please feel free to discuss any concerns or ask questions about your treatment at any time
